Saint Thomas Aquinas is a K-12 school with approximately 200 students. Our students reside within the Town of Provost, communities within the MD of Provost, or surrounding rural residences.
Saint Thomas Aquinas staff and families aim to create an inclusive, faith-based, respectful learning environment, where students can safely engage in active learning. We believe that elementary students need a strong foundation in numeracy and literacy for future success; our programs are designed to offer additional support in these critical areas. Guided reading, phonological awareness, vocabulary, math manipulatives and technological supports lead to many cross-curricular applications and diversified learning opportunities that meet students where they are at in their learning progression.
At the Junior and Senior High levels, student programming is flexible with many multi-dimensional learning opportunities. We offer multiple CTF/CTS electives that appeal to individual student interests such as Outdoor Education and Foods. Our Senior academic programming is tailored to the needs of each student and is supported by divisional resources.
OUtside of academic programming, we also value our sports and extra-curricular opportunities. Students are encouraged to participate in activities such as volleyball, basketball, badminton, cross-country running, curling, golf, as well as to develop their leadership skills through various clubs including, but not limited to: youth choir, student union and yearbook.
